On President Obama’s recent trip to Saudi Arabia he was given the customary and fully expected introduction to King Abdullah. As President Obama was introduced to the King the following video record was make.

Did President Obama bow to the king or did he suddenly think that his shoes were untied and he felt an urgent need to take a look? Watch the video, see what all the Washington talking heads are talking about, and then you decide.

Of course, the America people feel that Americans should not bow down to anyone. After all aren’t we superior to any people on the face of the earth? Hell, on that note most Americans feel that there aren’t any equals, so no bow is required, period. Unless the inferior people of the earth wish to bow down to us. That would be OK. There is no way that our President should bow down to a man who is powerful enough to sink the American economy if he so chooses. No oil, no economy, it’s as simple as that. Maybe Obama was praying, not bowing, before shaking the kings royal hand.

I doubt if President Obama thought of his bow as a bow. Certainly the Whitehouse didn’t expect to be talking about how the bow really wasn’t a bow days after the incident occurred. It would have been better to just say that President Obama thought that the correct protocol was to make a little bow before the king. But did he have to bow so low? The Whitehouse needs to stop spending so much time trying to fix the broken economy and give Obama lessons in correct protocol before he again climbs aboard Air Force One on his way to foreign lands.

What? President Obama is off again. Man, I hope he doesn’t bow down before the President of Mexico. Now that would get the Washington wags talking. The long crisis many continue forever if we can’t correct this bowing problem.
